At the turn of this century, HTAL started offering end-to-end solution for Afghanistan Transit Trade. In 2002, it even organized a seminar in Dubai in collaboration with NLC (National Logistics Cell) to encourage exporters and freight forwarders from Dubai to utilize Pakistan as Gateway to Afghanistan instead of Iran.
The seminar was quite a success and HTAL/NLC was able to capture significant commercial cargo from Dubai, handling over 500 containers a month on average.
From 2010 to 2011, HTAL carried NATO forces foodstuff shipments in Dry and Reefer Containers to Afghanistan, without any unfortunate incident or cargo compromise. HTAL provided these services to NATO.
